University Pathway Program in Spain with Liberty

Spanish language from scratch + Exam preparation
If you’re planning to pursue higher education in Spain, our partner language schools offer specialized university access programs designed to prepare you for a Bachelor’s degree. These courses help you master the Spanish language while also preparing for the required entrance exams — either PCE or EBAU — depending on your target university and region.

About the university pathway course

The course lasts 12 months and includes both Spanish language and subjects for the entrance exams.
  • Intensity
20 hours a week (4 hours a day) Monday through Friday. Weekends are always free as schools are closed
  • Duration
Preparatory university access courses typically begin in October and finish in May — perfectly aligned with the timing of the entrance exams. From June to August, many schools continue to support students by offering individual consultations and guidance to help them complete the application process.
  • Group size
First, you’ll study Spanish in small groups of around 8–10 students. Once you’ve reached the required level, subject-specific preparation begins — typically in larger groups organized by academic discipline.
  • Contents
For every subject classes are conducted in Spanish by qualified Spanish-speaking teachers
  • Spanish level
You can begin the course with no prior knowledge of Spanish. From October to January, you’ll build up your language skills to the level required for studying academic subjects.
  • Techers
All teachers at our partner schools are native Spanish speakers and certified ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) instructors, specialized in teaching Spanish to foreign students.

Course description and pricing

To gain admission to a Spanish university, you’ll need to meet a specific minimum score — and this score varies depending on the faculty and the city. Part of your score comes from your high school diploma or secondary school certificate. However, that’s usually not enough on its own. To boost your score, you’ll need to pass between 4 and 6 entry exams, depending on the autonomous region where you plan to study.

There are several ways to prepare for university entrance in Spain. At Liberty Lingvo, we’ve selected specialized programs that combine Spanish language learning from scratch with academic exam preparation — all designed to help international students access public universities.

These comprehensive courses are offered by:
  • Sunlight Language School in Valencia and Barcelona

Obtaining a student visa

In order to enroll in the university access course, you must submit all the necessary documents to obtain a study or student visa.

From May 20, 2025, this can only be done through the Consulate/Embassy of Spain in your country. As a rule, if the package of documents is complete, and the student is 18-25 years old, then the chances of obtaining such a visa are very high.

We at Liberty Lingvo have extensive experience in obtaining study visas, so write to us and we will advise on all issues. Our consultations are free
Important! According to the new rules effective from May 20th, 2025, you can only enroll in language courses or university preparation courses if you are 18 years of age or older. Please write to us for more detailed information.

How we work

We are an official representative of various Spanish language schools in Spain. Our job is to attract new students to the schools and, in turn, they pay us a commission.

Our commission is entirely dependent on the successful approval of your student visa. If your visa is granted by the Spanish Consulate, the language school pays us a commission — not you. That’s why we’re fully invested in supporting you throughout the application process to ensure everything goes smoothly.

This partnership lets us provide our students with discounts, which we take from our agency's fee.
