In Spain, most Bachelor’s programs are taught in Castellano (standard Spanish), and
all public universities in the Valencian Community require applicants to take entrance exams in Spanish. This course is specifically designed for international students who want to build up their language skills and prepare academically for those exams.
Course structure:
- From September to January – You’ll attend intensive Spanish classes to reach at least a B1 level, which is necessary for academic study.
- From January to May – You’ll begin focused preparation for the PCE entrance exams, which are required to apply to universities in Valencia.
- In June – You’ll take the official Selectividad (PCE) exams administered by UNED.
This program is
tailored to meet the admission standards of leading public universities in Valencia, such as the
University of Valencia (UV) and the
Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).
Course structure:- Start dates: September or October
- Spanish classes: September to January
- Subject preparation: January to May
- Additional Spanish support: June to August (optional)
Although there is no official guidelines, most universities require a B2 level of Spanish upon entry. Therefore we recommend that you already have A2-B1 level of Spanish before you begin your University Pathway course in September. However, if you are a total beginner, don't worry. The schools offer extra Spanish classes from June to August/September.
